The Government of Antigua and Barbuda has announced a dramatic reduction of 50% to the minimum investment amount for the National Development Fund (NDF) Investment Option. The original amount of US$200,000.00 for a family of up to four (4) persons has been reduced to US$100,000.00 and the amount for a family of five (5) and over has been reduced to US$125,000.00 from the original US$250,000.00. These changes have become effective from November 1st, 2017.
The reduction to the investment amount is in addition to the changes to the processing fees already implemented by the government in August 2017. The processing fee for NDF applications for a family of up to four (4) persons has been reduced to US$25, 000 with an incremental payment of US$15,000 for each additional dependent where the application has five (5) or more persons. The processing fees for the Real Estate and Business Investment Options have also seen a reduction to US$50,000 for a family of up to four (4) persons with an incremental payment of US$15,000 for each additional dependent where the application has five (5) or more persons.
Due Diligence Fees for all the Investment Options remain unchanged. As such, for a family of four (4) comprised of Main Applicant, Spouse and 2 Dependent Children under (twelve) 12 years, the cost analysis is as follows:
